I’ve been thinking a lot lately about new life.

My sister just had her 2nd baby girl & I have even been experiencing a lot of new things in my life recently…
These new experiences have reminded me that we are almost at the end of the year.

My favorite holiday is New Years. People usually laugh at me when I say that. 

But I love it because in one moment everything changes. Possibilities are endless. The next day- You wake up & things are different!

It seems like the older I get- The faster time is going by…
But no matter what happens in my life or how fast time passes, I can’t help but realize that things just keep getting better & better.
Things are not perfect.

They never will be… But just as the days are new every morning- I can choose to be NEW every day!

A NEW mind, a NEW heart, a NEW passion, a NEW perspective.

REVELATION 21:1-7

“I saw “a new heaven & a new earth.” (Isaiah 65:17)… Things are no longer the way they used to be.” He who was sitting on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down. You can trust these words. They are true. He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning & the End. I will give water to anyone who is thirsty. The water will come from the spring of the water of life. It doesn’t cost anything! Those who have victory will receive all this from me. I will be their God, & they will be my children.”

ISAIAH 65:17

“I will create new heavens & a new earth. The things that have happened before will not be remembered. They will not even enter your minds.

EZEKIEL 36:26

“I will give you new hearts. I will give you a new spirit that is faithful to me. I will remove your stubborn hearts from you. I will give you hearts that obey me.”

2 CORINTHIANS 5:17

“When anyone lives in Christ, the new creation has come. The old is gone! The new is here!“

PHILLIPIANS 3:13-14

“Brothers & sisters, I don’t consider that I have taken hold of it yet. But here is the one thing I do. I forget what is behind me. I push hard toward what is ahead of me. I push myself forward toward the goal to win the prize. God has appointed me to win it. The heavenly prize is Christ Jesus himself.”

COLOSIANS 3:8-10

“But now here are the kinds of things you must also get rid of. You must get rid of anger, rage, hate & lies. Let no dirty words come out of your mouths. Don’t lie to one another. You have gotten rid of your old way of life & its habits. You have started living a new life. Your knowledge of how that life should have the Creator’s likeness is being made new“

I don’t know where you are at today in your life.

You may have a great life, or  you may be in a difficult season…

But I want to encourage you: DON’T GO ONE MORE DAY- & NOT LIVE A NEW LIFE.

We all have the chance to be better each day & not only that- We have the chance to give our lives to God new & fresh at any moment.

God promises us that He will make things new, that He will provide for us what we need.

But lets be people that take steps towards our belief & into the NEW that is available to us at any moment.

Don’t wait for New Years or a special “moment”- LETS LIVE A NEW LIFE RIGHT NOW!
