I love these men. I love that I’m surrounded by

I love these men.

I love that I never know what the day holds with them.
I love that they keep my reflexes sharp.
I love that I get to be the “pampered” one.
I love that we are raising strong, Godly, patriotic men!
I love that the best of me and @colemambrose still somehow created two versions of my dad @keithcraft.
I love it all.
I call them my lion and my dragon.

Many people use discernment in ways God never intended.

The Latin root of “discernment” means to “separate” or “set apart.” For people who follow God - this is the ability to separate good from evil, truth from falsehood, wisdom from foolishness.

It is WISDOM as we mature, that helps to measure discernment, which allows us to identify right from wrong & best from Good… not just good & evil.

The ability to gain wisdom comes from God & reading His Word - helps you to be equipped to actually APPLY what you learn.

Proverbs 17:24 tells us that, “Anyone who understands what is right keeps wisdom in view. But the eyes of a foolish person look everywhere else.”

It goes on to say in verse 27 & 28, “Anyone who has knowledge controls their words. Anyone who has understanding is not easily upset. We think even foolish people are wise if they keep silent. We think they understand what is right if they control their tongues.”

God wants us to operate in a way that is set a part…

Anyone can see someone or something & have a feeling about it & make a judgement based on emotion… We see this daily in our world - people make judgements & even “cancel” people if their feelings catch enough traction.

But our job is to LEAD what we FEEL & ask God for help as we MATURE… Your ability to discern things was given to you - to HELP you make better decisions & alignments… not to judge others or things.

The best thing we can do is make determinations based on your (hopefully) BIBLICAL VALUES, when looking at: alignments, daily decisions & where you give your time & money…

God gave you the ability to discern things to set you a part. Not to push others away… or make emotional based judgments in a moment that is fleeting.

I never had the feeling that I wanted to have kids

I never had the feeling that I wanted to have kids with someone until I met Cole. Being with him introduced me to baby fever hahah 🥰…

We have grown through a lot together. But being parents together has been such an amazing teacher… I love seeing you be a dad… I love seeing you love on our boys. I love that you speak life into them.

There’s no one else I would want to build a legacy & a life with. I knew I loved you beyond what I had ever known - but when I saw you become a dad… my love grew even more. Thank you for always striving to be the best man, so they can follow you through example, not just your words.

Do you like the reality of your life?
Did you know you have POWER from God to change what you see right now?

Too often we fail to realize that what we allow to live in our thought life, will be brought to life… in our every day reality.

You have the choice of what you feed & allow to live in your mind.

& the stories we continue to tell ourselves & validate will come to pass if we are not careful.

Put your effort into thoughts that are from God… not what YOU feel or YOU think or YOU see.

If you let what YOU see, think, or feel rule you - that is what you will manifest in your world, because YOU GET TO PROPHECY your life. You can start today & CHOOSE to lead your thoughts, & lead your life to be what God has for you!

God has a plan. But you get to choose to be a part of it. He doesn’t force you to live what you are called to do… He doesn’t force you to receive all He has for you…

But if you CHOOSE to receive your thoughts over His thoughts & over His plans - that’s what you will get in life.

So many people in the world are living, according

So many people in the world are living, according to their own truth… it feels right, so they think it must be true.

We naturally surround ourself with people who agree with us, & affirm our narrative… & it’s pretty standard that people don’t like to feel uncomfortable or challenged.

That’s why the word of God is so important. It’s a guide post. It’s a compass. It is the TRUTH. It will not always make you feel comfortable. In fact, it will push you out of your comfort zone to be the best that God created you to be… & that takes work. Not striving in your own strength to make things happen, but actually letting go of your way so that you can see what God has for you happen.

The Bible says in John 8:31-32, “Then Jesus turned to the Jews who had claimed to believe in him. ‘If you stick with this, living out what I tell you, you are my disciples for sure. Then you will experience for yourselves the truth, & the truth will free you.”

The problem with believers today - They say they believe in Jesus, but they don’t live according to the truth so they’re not TRULY free... they don’t even give living for God time to bear real fruit. As soon as things don’t go their way or they get uncomfortable - they are out.

& everyone else who lives according to what they feel will be bound by just that. You have to grow & go beyond your feelings & acknowledge God‘s truth, as well as apply God’s truth - to experience real lasting freedom.

if you want freedom, you have to apply the correct truth! Your truth may feel right, but it only leave you bound & broken in the end.

Too many of the best things in life get pushed to

Too many of the best things in life get pushed to the side for the sake of “getting it done.” You may have your checklist or know what the non negotiable’s are… but when’s the last time you just took the time to be here now?!?
When is the last time you watched your child laugh at something or connect with them in the eyes & talk to them, not AT them?!?
When is the last time you shared a moment, without social media or work getting in the way…

We can get so busy that we don’t take time for the greatest moments. Today I was watching Arik watch something and just seeing his expressions filled me with so much joy…

It was a reminder. The laundry can wait, the dishes can wait, the to do list can wait. Sometimes you just need to take in the NOW & know…

You’ll never pass this way away.

The to-do list will be there tomorrow too… but this moment won’t. So, enjoy it.

This is not meant to put anyone down for living a

This is not meant to put anyone down for living a disingenuous life. But rather to challenge you to be REAL with yourself… all of us struggle with this in areas.

Some how in life - like Adam & Eve, in the garden… we forget that God sees it all. We cannot hide from him… the enemy wants you to keep things in the dark.

But your pretending to be something or someone that isn’t actually true is not letting God have it. You are in a sense “keeping that part of you - for yourself…” & God can’t work with it. & in fact - you are giving the enemy ammo in your life at that point.

I think the constant challenge we face is to understand that God knows & sees it all… I want to be blessed by Him so I have to give Him access to ALL of my life - if I want Him to be able to work in ALL of it.
